(the animatronics division of Sanrio) and is called the Actroid.The Actroid’s appearance is that of a young Japanese girl.The Actroid was first introduced at the International Robot Exhibition which held in Tokyo, Japan in 2003. later on the exhibit, several versions of this robot have been produced and released with the help of improved technology and skilled engineer.

This humanoid can detect the movements of multiple objects in same time by using visual information captured by two camera "eyes" in its head and also determine distance and direction. This robot can interprets voice commands and human gestures, enabling it to recognize when a handshake is offered or when a person waves or points, and then respond accordingly to that actions.

Atlas is a bipedal humanoid robot which is primarily developed by the American robotics company named Boston Dynamics, with funding and oversight from the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).The Atlus is a 1.8-meter (6 ft) robot which is designed for a variety of search and rescue tasks.
The new version of Atlas is designed to operate both outdoors and inside buildings. It is specialized for mobile manipulation and is very adept at walking over a wide range of terrain, including snow and desert.
It uses various sensors in its body and legs to balance, and it uses LIDAR and stereo sensors in its head to avoid obstacles, assess the terrain, help with navigation, and manipulate objects.

Cameras within Sophia's eyes combined with computer algorithms allow it to see. It can follow faces, sustain eye contact, and recognize individuals. Sophia was upgraded with functional legs and the ability to walk.David Hanson has said that Sophia would ultimately be a good fit to serve in healthcare, customer service, therapy and education.She can also do various face expressions.
Sophia uses voice recognition (speech-to-text) technology from Alphabet Inc. (parent company of Google) and is designed to get smarter over time. Sophia's intelligence software is designed by Hanson Robotics. The AI program analyses conversations and extracts data that allows it to improve responses in the future.
Sophia has nine robot humanoid “siblings” who were also created by Hanson Robotics. Fellow Hanson robots are Alice, Albert Einstein Hubo, BINA48, Han, Jules, Professor Einstein, Philip K. Dick Android, Zeno, and Joey Chaos.
